Click here for a list of in-stores we've hosted. Local musicians interested in playing a show at Slowtrain can register to play a Local Night show. Local Nights are Mondays at 6pm. We're not taking registrations for future Local Nights at this time, please check back next month to see if there is availability. This option is for Utah musicians only who have music for sale at Slowtrain. Touring musicians interested in playing an in-store: Due to the high volume of requests for in-store shows Slowtrain only considers bands that meet the below criteria. If you do meet the below criteria you can e-mail your in-store request to info@slowtrainmusic.com, no phone calls please.
In-store Etiquette 1. If you have never played a show at Slowtrain, please be sure you introduce yourself to ALL staff members upon your arrival at the shop. Make sure ALL band members are introduced. We need to know who is playing so you can have access to the back of the store, etc. - and just because it is courteous. 2. Always be polite. Saying please and thank you will go a long way. 3. Show up on time. Set up quickly. 4. Know when your set should be done. We close at 7pm, please be out of the store by then. 5. See #2. |
